After school clubs

Some of our Youth Music funding is for outreach sessions. This term we are reaching new people .... visiting some schools to make music with after-school clubs.
On January 29th and February 5th we'll be at Critchill Special school in Frome.
Count Me In hero Ben Waller will be co-leading these sessions. Ben already runs a music project at Critchill, the Loops project.  
We'll also be working in Bridgwater with Alex Lupo, and in Frome with Openstorytellers and their FMU club.

HEART BEATS BEATEN BY WEATHER......JANUARY 24TH SESSION IS CANCELLED

The snow is very beautiful, and is falling thick and fast ...... sorry everyone, but we have decided it's not a good idea to go out across the Mendips in the dark this week.
We won't be running our session this Thursday, January 24th.
But we will be back on February 7th!

NEW YEAR, NEW EARS!

Our theme for this week is EXPLORATION.

We're going exploring in Alex and Ben's Spaceship full of new sounds!

We're landing on the Planet '2013' .... bleep bleep ... touching down ... what new music will we hear as we explore this unknown world?

It could sound strange, weird, wild, wonderful, crazy, squeaky, deep, funny ........

On the Off Beat in Woolavington

Looking forward to delivering a workshop for the Somerset Rural Youth projects' Soundscapes crew on Tuesday evening.
We're going for an 'on the off beat' feel - could be reggae, could be ska. Will be cool.

Winter Wonderland

Please come in and join in the music. We will be having fun and creating music with the theme of ‘winter wonderland.’
